This hairy looking gentleman is Sir John Corbet, the 2nd Baronet of Stoke upon Tern and Adderley and it was originally painted around 1676. He looks very regal here although clearly needs a bit of a haircut. 

That beautiful frame you see is not what it seems - Prince & Rebel actually print it onto the same canvas as the artwork, which creates a convincing optical illusion.

The illusion frame is available in either a faux-gold or charcoal style. We are also able to offer this artwork in extra large "loft" sized art prints - perfect to fill even the biggest space.

PRODUCTION INFO

This artwork is produced using a Giclée fine art printing process using high quality tight-weave 400gsm cotton canvas. This is then stretched over a wooden frame milled from European kiln dried knotless pine. Everything is assembled and finished by hand to the very highest standard.

This frame is 1.5" (38mm) thick with the frame printing effect continuing and wrapped onto the sides of the piece.
